§ Kate HoeyUK Sport's review into the anabolic steroid nandrolone which I initiated in August last year, reported on 18 January after an intensive period of expert study and discussion lasting three months.
UK Sport has accepted the conclusions of the Review Committee and has already consulted the International Olympic Committee and the International Amateur Athletic Federation—both of whom co-operated with the review and who have received the report favourably. National governing bodies are also being consulted. Comments on the report have been invited by the end of February.
The report has also generated substantial interest among members of the public, media, legal and scientific communities. I have placed a copy in the House Libraries.
