§ Mr. Chris SmithPublic consultation is a routine element of policy formulation in the Department and its sponsored bodies. We do not, however, keep a central systematic record of the many and various consultation exercises we have conducted. This information requested by my hon. Friend could therefore be assembled only at disproportionate cost.
