§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe Association is represented on the steering group overseeing the follow up to the report into the murder of Stephen Lawrence, which is chaired by my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary, which last met on 21 November 2000. The Secretary of State last met representatives of the Association on 19 October 1998 for a bilateral. I last met the Chair and Deputy Chair on 18 July 2000. My right hon. Friend, strongly supports the Association in its work of developing support networks for minority ethnic police officers.
