§ Mr. Charles ClarkeInformation obtained from the Vehicle Inspectorate (an executive agency of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions) shows that there were 46 convictions for interfering with speed limiters on heavy goods vehicles in England and Wales in the financial year 1999–2000.
