§ Mr. SpellarUnder its Royal charter, the Royal British Legion (RBL) has a responsibility for the welfare of the ex-service community and its dependents. The RBL's services are therefore complementary to those provided by my Department and it is able to offer advice and assistance to ex-Service personnel, as well as organising a number of initiatives.
