The Government have made clear that they have no plans to compete with the service provided by the Internet Service provider currently trading as UK. Online.

§ Lord Falconer of ThorotonGrahame Davies, the Group Managing Director of Easynet PLC, wrote to 139WA Patricia Hewitt, the e-Minister, on 31 March about the Government's intention to use the phrase UK Online to brand its planned new portal and its Information Age access initiatives.
