§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe number of police officers deployed on any murder investigation is an operational matter for the relevant Chief Officer of Police, in this case the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis.
The Commissioner tells me that the size of the team investigating Jill Dando's death is subject to regular management review to ensure the efficient and effective progression of the investigation.
