§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis informs me that the purpose was to investigate the criminal activities of persons involved in the supply of drugs. The combined cost of the Criminal Investigation Bureau/Kent investigation was in the region of £417,000. It was completed in November 1999.
