To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what contracts have been awarded by the Welsh Office in the last year to(a) the public relations company, Good Relations and (b) the public relations company, HHCL. [96553]

Howell Henry Chauldecott Lowry (HHCL) were the advertising agency appointed on behalf of the Welsh Office by the Central Office of Information to work on the Assembly Information Campaign. That is the only contract awarded to this company in the last year.

Bell Pottinger Good Relations were sub-contracted by HHCL to work on "free media", which formed a part of the Assembly Information Campaign. They were also awarded a contract directly by the Welsh Office to assist with the establishment and maintenance of a web-site for National Assembly for Wales.
