Commission Communication "Towards an Area of Freedom, Security and Justice" (10787/98), and Presidency paper for the Europol Working Group on Implementation of the Treaty of Amsterdam and Action Plan of the Council and the Commission on how best to implement the provisions of the Treaty of Amsterdam establishing an Area of Freedom, Security and Justice with a view of Europol (6245/99).Further implementation of the Action Plan will be carried forward in the light of the Presidency Conclusions from the Tampere European Council on 15 and 16 October.
