§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe Government have asked the Firearms Consultative Committee (FCC) to look at a wide range of firearms issues as part of its work programme824W for this year, including the controls on air weapons. The FCC has made clear that its main focus in considering these issues, including the controls on air weapons, is in terms of protecting and improving public safety. We look forward with interest to the FCC's annual report at the end of the year and any recommendations the Committee may make.
