To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the future of the ECGD's Fixed Rate Export Finance scheme. [95430]

ECGD is in active discussion with representatives of the British Bankers Association on a successor to the FREF Scheme that expired on 30 September. To allow time for these discussions to be completed, and for an appropriate successor scheme to be put in place, the scheme has been rolled forward for a further two months to the end of November.
