§ Mr. HainMr. Dienstbier's most recent report was submitted to the UN Commission on Human Rights on 20 January 1999. It makes no reference to sanctions. I understand that, following his visit to the region in early October 1999, Mr. Dienstbier will shortly be submitting a further report to the General Assembly. The Government have not seen the report, which has yet to be published.
