To ask the Solicitor General what proportion of cases brought by the Serious Fraud Office have resulted in conviction. [94156]

The Solicitor-General

Since its inception, the Serious Fraud Office has prosecuted 197 cases involving 442 defendants. Of the 442 defendants, 300 were convicted or pleaded guilty, an overall conviction rate of 68 per cent.
