To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Southport (Mr. Fearn) of 19 July 1999,Official Report, column 410, how much money the National Health Service Executive expects to raise from the sale of the National Health Service sites listed for which planning permission for housing has been granted. [94290]

Mr. Denham

Most of the sites listed are in various stages of the planning process, and planning permission has not yet been issued. Of those where planning permission has been granted, the anticipated income is in the region of £15.5 million. If planning permission is granted for others listed, the anticipated income is approximately £180 million.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much money the NHS Executive has raised in each year since 1995 for the sale of its land for private development. [94192]
