§ Mr. SpellarAs at 22 November 1999, there were 275 British Service personnel serving with the international peacekeeping force in East Timor (INTERFET), consisting of 262 Army personnel—of which 218 are from 2nd Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles—12 RAF personnel and one Royal Marine.
