§ Mr. LockThe procedure for the appointment of General Commissioners of Income Tax is set out in the Lord Chancellor's Directions for Advisory Committees on General Commissioners of Income Tax, a copy of which has been placed in the Library of the House. Mr. Hugh Wyatt, the Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex, became the Chairman of the local Advisory Committee on 1 September 1999 in succession to Mr. Nigel Ventham who retired on that day.
