§ Mr. MullinA consultants' report on the design of a tax or charge scheme for pesticides was put out to public consultation in March this year with an invitation to submit comments to the Treasury by June. Since then, I am not aware that my Department has held any meetings with trade representatives on this issue. Tax matters are of course the responsibility of the Chancellor.
