§ Mr. Hoon[holding answer 2 November 1999]: The programme to implement the Smart Procurement initiative is now well into its transitional year. The roll-out of the Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) in both the Defence Procurement Agency and the Defence Logistics Organisation is continuing and will be complete by April 2000. Thirty-three IPTs are now in full operation; a further 39 formed up in September and 69 are planned to roll-out commencing in January. An updated list of the 141 IPTs has been placed in the Library of the House.
