Mr. Soley

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many black and ethnic minority(a) psychiatrists and (b) community psychiatric nurses are currently registered in England and Wales. [84111]

The information available for England is given in the tables. These figures refer to England only. The statistics for Wales are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.

The Department is reviewing the collection of ethnic statistics with a view to improving the quality and coverage of the information we collect.
