Mr. Jon Owen JonesAcross the new NHS trusts in Wales the number of senior managerial posts has so far been reduced by a total of 80, as follows:
NHS Trusts Senior managerial posts Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust 12 Pontypridd and Rhondda NHS Trust 9 University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital NHS Trust 5 Cardiff and District Community NHS Trust 4 Swansea NHS Trust 15 Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust 12 Carmarthenshire NHS Trust 5 North West Wales NHS Trust 4 Conwy and Denbighshire NHS Trust 5 North East Wales NHS Trust 9 Further reductions in managerial and administrative posts are expected to take place throughout the year.
Following the transfer of functions, this issue will be a matter for the National Assembly.
