§ Mr. MudieThe retirement package was a decision made by the previous governors of Wirral Metropolitan College. The decision was made in line with guidance provided by the FEFC in its financial memorandum to colleges. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has asked the FEFC to review the advice it gives to colleges to ensure that careful consideration is given to the guidance so that it is appropriate in different circumstances.
