§ Mr. DenhamThe Green Paper Our Healthier Nation invited comments on the contribution which fluoridation can make to improved oral health. Of the 258 comments received from the Trent region, in which Leicestershire is located, 241 were in favour of fluoridation and 17 opposed. We will be announcing our policy on fluoridation in a White Paper on public health, which will be published shortly.
