§ Mr. Paul MurphyThe Northern Ireland Office, Northern Ireland Government Departments and their respective executive agencies may ask individuals to provide their birth certificate in a range of circumstances. An individual's birth certificate is used for the purpose of providing evidence of their date of birth or identity.
