§ Mr. FoulkesBritain provided £ 200,000 to support the work of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) in 1998-99. We made no contribution in 1997 –98.
We are currently developing a longer term and more substantial programme of support with the IAVI, which will begin in 1999 –2000.
