§ Mr. BattleThe new round of Foresight began on 1 April 1999. A blueprint outlining the structure and remit of the new round was published in December 1998 alongside the Competitiveness White Paper.
Work in the new round is being taken forward by ten sectoral and three thematic panels. Chairs for twelve of the new panels have been appointed as follows:
