§ Dr. Jack CunninghamThe average individual increase in 1998–99 (before staging) was 5.44 per cent. 2 per cent. of the pay award was paid on 1 April 1998 and the remainder on 1 December 1998. The individual average percentage in-year increase taking account of staging was 3.15 per cent.
