§ Mr. Galbraith[holding answer 24 March 1999]: A wide range of reports and guidance has been issued aimed at removing inequalities and improving access to care and support across the range of education, social work, health and other services.
Equity of access to support appropriate to assessed needs will continue to be a priority.
From 1 July 1999, this will be a matter for the Scottish Parliament.
