§ Mr. BoatengAn inter-departmental working group of officials, which includes a member of the Law Commission, is currently considering the recommendations made in the Law Commission's report no. 237, "Legislating the Criminal Code: Involuntary Manslaughter", which includes the creation of a new offence of corporate manslaughter.
Once we have the group's conclusions we will consider how to take forward the recommendation on corporate manslaughter.
