What steps they have taken to cover the capital costs of the production of the Airborne Stand-Off Radar (ASTOR) by private financial initiatives. [HL1559]

In line with normal MoD procedures, all the relevant costs, including capital costs, maintenance and support, and affordability, are being taken into account in the assessment of the proposals from industry for the ASTOR programme.
