To ask the President of the Council which Government organisations providing information for the March 1999 review of year 2000 readiness have(a) failed to report on progress with business critical embedded systems since the last review and (b) have moved back completion dates since the last review. the Republic of Ireland, (b) the top 10 companies by volume of imports from the Republic of Ireland to Great Britain, (c) the top 10 products in volume exported from Great Britain to the Republic of Ireland and (d) the top 10 products by volume imported from the Republic of Ireland to Great Britain. [holding answer 22 March 1999]: Information on UK companies trade with Ireland is not available from any official sources. Figures for trade by financial year are not readily available, while data in volume terms are not available on an individual country basis.
