§ Ms Glenda JacksonIn answer to (i) and (ii), for security reasons it would not be appropriate to reveal the actual stations inspected or the issues identified for rectification. The stations inspected included major stations throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

(iv) During the period 1 April 1997 to 31 March 1998 no suspicious packages proved to be actual devices. One bomb threat proved to be a device and this exploded at Leeds Station in April 1997.
