§ Mr. WilsonThe purpose of my visit to Turkey is to promote British trade. British consular staff in Ankara, Istanbul and Valetta continue to monitor closely Turkey's request for the extradition from Malta of the man charged with Mr. Fernandes' murder. They have urged both Governments to act swiftly to resolve this case.
