§ Ms Glenda JacksonIt is already government policy that any revenues from charging schemes brought forward by the Mayor or boroughs will be additional moneys for spending on measures which support the Mayor's transport strategy.
The Greater London Authority Bill will require charging authorities to maintain separate income and expenditure accounts for each charging scheme. These accounts will be published annually. This will guarantee transparency, and make it clear to Londoners that charging revenues are additional moneys.
