§ Mr. Chris SmithOn 15 December 1998,Official Report, columns 420–21, I announced that, from 1 April 1999, the fee for a colour television licence would increase to £101 and that for a black and white licence to £33.50. I have today laid before Parliament the regulations necessary to bring these fees into force.
