§ Mr. MorleyThe Government's primary concern is to bring about an end to fur farming in this country, which is why we are supporting the Private Member's Bill promoted by my hon. Friend the Member for Liverpool, Garston (Maria Eagle). We have made it clear in Council of Europe discussions on welfare standards that the UK is opposed for ethical reasons to fur farming.
