HC Deb 09 March 1999 vol 327 c107W
Sir Alastair Goodlad

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many of those convicted of crimes in Northern Ireland in the last year for which figures are available have ever been admitted to National Health Service mental illness hospitals with a main diagnosis of schizophrenia psychoses. [73355]

Mr. McFall

The subject of criminal convictions is a matter for the Lord Chancellor's Department. However, I understand from that Department that these figures are not available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
