Mr. Mitchell

To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many road haulage firms have transferred their head offices from the United Kingdom to mainland Europe in the last five years. [74306]

Ms Glenda Jackson

I have been asked to reply.

The information is not available in this form. Companies are required to register an address for correspondence for various legal purposes including goods operator licensing. This need not be the head office address so transfers of head offices would not be recorded as such.
