§ The Lord ChancellorThe Government recognise that alternative dispute resolution may have a significant part to play in the delivery of justice in non-family civil disputes. However, there are a number of difficult issues to be considered before a detailed policy can be settled. I am currently considering how these may be addressed and am not yet able to say when a policy announcement will be made.
