Mr. Jon Owen JonesPrimary care professionals are trained to watch out for the warning signs of this condition and to refer suspected cases to specialists in the secondary care sector. Post-diagnosis, the primary care team has a managing and co-ordinating role with other agencies in supporting autistic children and their families.
Following the transfer of functions, this issue will be a matter for the National Assembly.
