Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department in relation to departmental co-operation, on 24 February 1999,Official Report, column 311. I can also confirm that MAFF's policies are 728W subject to audit monitoring to prevent and detect fraud, both internal and external to the Department. In particular, MAFF applies controls to guard against fraud and irregularities in administering Common Agricultural Policy schemes. These controls are subject to regular audit under EU procedures.
