§ Dawn PrimaroloThe Government have made representations to the European Commission about the time limit for claiming back VAT in other member states on two occasions. On both occasions we drew attention to cases where a member state was in breach of the six-month time limit by which tax authorities must either refund the VAT claimed or give the reason for refusal.
