§ Angela EagleAspects of the Department's Year 2000 Programme as well as the Programme overall have already been subject to more than 20 independent assessments since work commenced in 1995. The latest one was conducted by IMPACT consultancy in May. This assessment was undertaken to fulfil our part in Action 2000's Independent Assessment Project of essential sectors of the national infrastructure. Findings will be disclosed at the National Infrastructure Forum on 13 July.
The Department will be commissioning a further round of independent assessments of all delivery organisations later in the year and the results will be made available as part of the National Infrastructure Project monitoring phase.
