To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what studies are in progress into the feasibility of the proposed closure next year of the London Underground District Line between Earl's Court and High Street Kensington. [88428]

London Underground are building on the lessons learned from the review of this month's Circle Line closure into the planning process for next year's District Line closure between Earl's Court and High Street Kensington.

So far, two options have been modelled and additional modelling is being commissioned by London Underground to forecast the impacts on passenger flows across the whole Underground network.
