§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 21 June 1999]My offices liaise with their counterparts in many other countries, including the Republic of Ireland, regarding research into TB in cattle and badgers. It is for other countries, not MAFF, to publish research for which they are responsible. The project to remove badgers in East Offaly in Ireland was recently reviewed in the Irish Veterinary Journal (Volume 52(4) 1 April 99).
