[holding answer 21 June 1999]The independent Commission on Policing has been established under the Good Friday Agreementto make recommendations for future policing arrangements in Northern Ireland including means of encouraging widespread community support".

The Commission has consulted widely and has its own website at: www.belfast.org.uk
