§ Mr. Andrew SmithThe Employment Service has been set a target of helping 100,000 young people into employment, through the New Deal, in this financial year. This national target is disaggregated to local Jobcentre level. Planning to meet local targets is the responsibility of each Jobcentre Manager, including, where appropriate, further disaggregation of office targets to New Deal personal Advisers.
