To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish the estimated cost of travel expenses for the new Scottish Executive for the period up to 1 July. [86917]

§ Dr. Reid
It is not possible at this time to make a reliable estimate of such costs during the period in question.
From 1 July 1999, this will be a matter for the Scottish Parliament.
