To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many departmental Information Society Initiative Local Support Centres have been established; and how many more are planned. [86635]

Eighty Information Society Initiative (ISI) Local Support Centres have been established. A further 20 are planned and these should be open by the end of 1999 to give a UK wide network of 100 Local Support Centres.
