§ Mr. MichaelSubject to Parliament's approval of the related Revised Estimate, the Welsh Office Departmental Expenditure Limit for 1999–2000 will be increased by £30,800,000 from £7,061,717,000 to £7,092,517,000, including a transfer from the Department for Education and Employment Class I, Vote 1 to take account of the change to student support arrangements following the Dearing Review of higher education.
The increase will be offset by a transfer and will not add to the overall level of planned total public expenditure.
